Bhavishya Badri:
“Situated in the Subain village, approximately 17 kilometers from Joshimath, Bhavishya Badri dedicates itself to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. “Believers consider it the site where a future event or avatar (incarnation) of Lord Vishnu will occur, which is the reason for the name ‘Bhavishya,’ meaning ‘future.'”
Vridh Badri:
Vridh Badri is located in the Animath village, about 7 kilometers from Joshimath.
The temple houses an image of Lord Vishnu in the form of an old and weathered idol, which gives it the name “Vridh” meaning old.
