Duration: 7 days
1 Day : Haridwar to Govindghat
- Start your journey from Haridwar early in the morning.
- Drive to Govindghat, a small town that serves as the base for the Valley of Flowers trek. The drive takes approximately 10-12 hours.
- Overnight stay in a guesthouse or hotel in Govindghat.
2 Day : Govindghat to Ghangaria
- Begin your trek to Ghangaria after breakfast.
- The trek is about 13 kilometers long and can take 5-6 hours.
- Stay overnight in a guesthouse or camp in Ghangaria.
3 Day : Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and back
- Early morning trek to the Valley of Flowers.
- Spend the day exploring the valley, admiring the beautiful flowers and landscapes.
- Return to Ghangaria in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
4 Day : Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back
- Trek to Hemkund Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine surrounded by a pristine glacial lake.
- The trek is steep and challenging, covering around 6-7 kilometers.
- Explore the temple and the serene lake.
- Return to Ghangaria in the afternoon.
- Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
5 Day : Ghangaria to Govindghat
- Trek back to Govindghat.
- Overnight stay in Govindghat.
6 Day : Govindghat to Joshimath
- Drive from Govindghat to Joshimath.
- Joshimath is a larger town with more accommodation options and is a great place to relax after the trek.
- Overnight stay in Joshimath.
7 Day : Joshimath to Haridwar
- Drive back to Haridwar, which takes approximately 10-12 hours.
- Arrive in Haridwar by evening.
