Char Dham Yatra
A Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage in India that covers four holy shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
1 Day : Arrival in Haridwar
- Arrive in Haridwar, which is well-connected by train and road.
- Visit Har Ki Pauri and witness the Ganga Aarti in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Haridwar.
2 Day : Haridwar to Barkot (Drive – Approx. 170 km)
- After breakfast, drive to Barkot, a scenic town nestled in the Uttarkashi district.
- En route, visit Kempty Falls in Mussoorie.
- Overnight stay in Barkot.
3 Day : Barkot to Yamunotri and back
- Drive to Jankichatti and trek to Yamunotri
- Visit the Yamunotri Temple and the hot water springs (Surya Kund).
- Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
4 Day : Barkot to Uttarkashi (Drive – Approx. 85 km)
- Drive to Uttarkashi, a town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
- Visit the Vishwanath Temple and other local attractions.
- Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
5 Day : Uttarkashi to Gangotri with a Stop at Harshil Valley
- After breakfast, drive to Harshil Valley, a picturesque location known for its stunning landscapes and lush greenery.
- Spend some time exploring Harshil Valley and taking in the natural beauty.
- Visit the Gangotri Temple and offer your prayers.
- Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
6 Day : Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (Drive – Approx. 220 km)
- Depart for Guptkashi, a small town located on the way to Kedarnath.
- En route, visit the heritage village of Srinagar.
- Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
7 Day : Sonprayag to Kedarnath
- Drive to Sonprayag and trek to Kedarnath.
- Visit the Kedarnath Temple and seek blessings.
- Overnight stay in Kedarnath or nearby accommodations.
8 Day : Kedarnath to Sonprayag
- Trek back to Sonprayag.
- Relax and rest after the trek.
- Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
9 Day : Guptkashi to Badrinath with a Stop at Mana Village (Drive – Approx. 220 km)
- Drive from Guptkashi to Badrinath, your final destination for this yatra.
- Explore Mana Village and its attractions, including the Vyas Gufa (cave) and the natural beauty of the region.
- Visit the Badrinath Temple and offer your prayers.
- Overnight stay in Badrinath.
10 Day : Badrinath to Rishikesh (Drive – Approx. 300 km)
- Depart from Badrinath and drive to Rishikesh.
- Visit places like the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula.
- Attend the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh
- Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
11 Day : Return to Haridwar
- Drive back to Haridwar.
